Dana Kigali Hotel

DANA KIGALI

From River Nile to Rwanda the land of a thousand hills

Our Journey

Our journey to be the best hotel in Kigali did not begin in Rwanda, but began more than 150 years ago, when a girl named Dana was born in a small village on the West Bank of the Nile River in the far north of the Sudan, where African, Arab and Islamic cultures meet side by side with the essence and values of collective action, shadowed by the spirit of one family and a long legacy of hospitality, altruism and welcome to every stranger knocking on the door of your home.

Dana grew up and married, and she had a number of boys and girls, raising them on the same noble values, for her children and for the entire village, not only was Dana a symbol of the mother and the housewife, but also the idea and value of the big house, where they gave hearts to meet and stunt the smell of love everywhere and hold the soul.

Throughout their life cycle, members of Dana's family have been united, and even though they have been scattered throughout the world, they have used to gather on a regular basis, in that wonderful house - Dana's house. After Dana's death, her family decided to establish their own project on the idea of a big house, family unity, and hospitality, so that they founded and ran the first Dana hotel in the heart of Khartoum where the white and blue Niles would meet to form the world's longest river - the Nile River.

Now, thousands of miles south, in the heart of Kigali, in beautiful Rwanda, the "1,000 hill country," Dana hotel continues to belong to that breeding legacy, inspired by the noble and noble values of hospitality and a single family spirit, and embracing each coming into the wings and rooms of the hotel. The experience of staying at Dana Kigali Hotel is designed to be your home when you're gone. We're here to treat you like a member of our big family. For us, this goes beyond the concept of business, but it's about family values, hospitality and high-quality treatment. After Dana's death, her family decided to establish their own project on the idea of a big house, family unity, and hospitality, so that they founded and ran the first Dana hotel in the heart of Khartoum where the white and blue Niles would meet to form the world's longest river - the Nile River.
